The location of our holiday house near Chania on Crete

The holiday house "VILLA MAQUIS " on Crete is ideally located near Chania in the beautifull green area of the APOKORONAS. It is the perfect fall out basis to discover the most beautiful places in Western Crete, with North as South. At an altitude of 285m, located in rural Crete in the Greek village of VAMOS, where the time seem to have stopped, you will appreciate the peace and nature while enjoying amazing views on the mountains and SOUDA bay.

Location

The holiday villa is located in-between Chania (30min) and Rethymnon (30min). From the airport of Chania it is only a 45min drive to the villa - direction of Rethimnon (taxi about 60€).

The villa is located at 1,2 km from the center of VAMOS direction of KEFALAS and XIROSTERNI.

From Heraklion it is about 1h30 drive to the villa.

The villa is located at the end of a rural road (see picture). It is situated at an altitude of 285m in the province of APOKORONAS. This area is known for its green vegetation and the proximity of the white mountains which are covered with snow until the beginning of Mai.
