ELAFONISI beach
The most beautiful beach on Crete is ELAFONISI beach. With its natural lagoon you can walk through the shallow water from the main land to the Island. After a 2 hour drive through the mountains with breathtaking views, you will arrive. The place is very touristic and do expect many people. The beaches color pink due to micro organismes in the water. The sea shifts color from dark blue to apple green because of the white sand beach and shallow bay. Remember that is is a protected nature reserve !
